Inserting and/or deleting photos

I would like to be able insert or remove photos and have the existing photos move over to take up the space of the vacated photo or make room for the new one. Sometimes I forget to put in a photo and to add it at the end ruins the sequence. I would like the labels to shift with the photos already in place. Bill Zalin

It takes a lot of time if I want to change the order of photos because there is no way to move them around so I have to cut and paste each photo and caption separately until I have the order I want. Just like on side by side when you can re-order comps, there should be a place where you can reorder photos similarly. I am currently trying to rearrange photos for a 10,000 sq ft house with 7 bedrooms and 10 baths and it is taking forever. Make sure the captions will move with the photos. Thanks

I agree with this. The ability to easily insert or remove photos, automatically adjusting and renumbering the existing ones, is crucial for appraisers. The photo sequence is vital, and sometimes missing photos need to be inserted mid-sequence. Currently, adding a photo at the end disrupts the logical flow, and manually reordering and renumbering is time-consuming and error-prone.

Automating this process will significantly save time and effort, reduce errors, and result in increased efficiency, more accurate reports, and higher satisfaction for both appraisers and clients. Please consider this essential feature for the software.

I have made this exact request numerous times. If you have 30 photos, then delete one of them, you have to drag all of the following photos up a space, then copy/past every label as well. I understand that the photo field is separate from the label field, but there should be a way to link them after they are already in the report (toggle on/off?). Maybe add a label feature directly to the photo (pre-formatted)?

Yes, this happens almost every report, where I have to insert a photo I missed. David Moore makes an excellent suggestion to move the labels along with the photos! Once I realized I could copy, cut and paste the photos to move them, that helped somewhat, but it is still an incredibly time consuming process.

I would like the photo labels to follow the photo when swapping photos.
