I just completed an FHA report and E & O asked for Estimated Remaining Economic Life which is no longer needed. Here is a note from CoPilot: the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) has officially eliminated the requirement for appraisers to report the estimated remaining economic life of a property. This change was announced in Mortgagee Letter 2025-18, issued on June 27, 2025, as part of a broader effort to modernize and streamline FHA appraisal protocols 1.
